As of February 7, 2024, the program stopped accepting applications. Consumers enrolled in the ACP will continue to receive their benefit until the program ends. The Affordable Connectivity Program is administered by USAC with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
ICS is pleased to announce we have been approved by the FCC as a provider for the Affordable Connectivity Program to help lower the cost of broadband services.
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal government benefit program operated by the FCC that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households.
Who is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?
A household is eligible if at least one member meets one of the criteria below:
Enrolled in SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, SSI, Federal Public Housing Assistance, or Lifeline
Receives benefits in the free or reduced-price school breakfast or lunch program
Awarded a Pell Grant during the current award year
Participates in Tribal-specific programs
Earns an income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines
Currently resides in federal low income housing
