As ICS expands to new cities and supports more customers, we have been working on updates for our server infrastructure to better meet demand and increase stability of our Internet services. We have a planned update to our Internet server infrastructure and software on Tuesday June 9th, 5:00 AM CST to 6:00 AM CST. Internet service will continue to work during this time period. Residents will not be able to register new devices or change their Internet speed during the update.
This update helps us bring better service to you and your customers in a number of ways.
Recover servers that support our Internet service faster for disaster events like power outages, fires and floods.
Automatically rebuild servers in the unlikely event a server does go offline.
Automatically scale servers to meet demand.
